Dealer Account – Capris Furniture Web Portal

As part of our company-wide going green initiative and our understanding of the importance of helping our dealers, we have added a “Dealer Account” in the web portal.  This account will allow dealers to receive e-mail notification for new order, view order status, and access invoices.  Much functionality will be added in the future such as fabric availability, which is currently in development.  What follows is a guide for creating a dealer account.

 

Bring up your Internet browser and type in this Internet address:

https://www.furniture-capris.com/account/signup

This will bring up the “Create New Account” web page as shown below.

 

 

  1. E-mail will be your account username.  The system will send messages to this e-mail address.
  2. You can skip this since this is optional.
  3. If the code is not clear, you can get a new challenge by clicking on the first blue button.

 

After entering all the required fields, click on the “Create Account” button. 

 

If the account was successfully created, the Internet browser will be redirected to the “Welcome” web page as shown below.

 

 

You will also receive this message in your e-mail.  Now that you have an account in the web portal, the next step is to register this account as dealer.  To do that, click on the “Go to My Account” quick link.  This will bring up the “My Account” web page as shown below.

 

 

In the “My Account” web page, click on the “Register as Dealer” link in the Account panel to bring up the “Dealer Registration” web page.

This is the “Dealer Registration” web page.

 

 

  1. To quickly select a city, type in the first 2 letters of the name of the city.  For example, type in “oc” for Ocala.

 

After entering all the required fields, click on the “Submit” button.  If the registration was successful, the Internet browser will be redirected to a web page shown below.

 

 

To continue, log out from the web portal by clicking on the “Log out” link or menu item.

 

 

We are going to send our e-mail reply within 3 business days.  This e-mail contains a web page link to the activation web page.  A sample of this e-mail message is shown below.

 

 

The above sample image shows Hotmail.  In Hotmail, you can click on a web page link and it will bring that web page up for you.  Another way is to copy and paste the web page link address, or you can manually enter the web page link address to the Internet browser address box.  Once you have managed to go to the web page link address, your Internet browser will be on the “Dealer Account Activation” web page.  See image below.

 

 

Click on the “Activate My Dealer Account” button.  If the activation was successful, the Internet browser will be redirected to a web page shown below.

 

 

Congratulations!  You now have an active dealer account in our web portal.
